Get ready for a summer full of discovery with STAR’s Super STAR Camp! This one-of-a-kind program lets campers dive into a little bit of everything—sports, outdoor adventures, cooking and exciting S.T.E.A.M. activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). It’s our most popular and best-value camp for a reason! Super STAR inspires creativity, hands-on learning, and exploration as kids try out new skills and uncover new passions. Art Studio: Ocean Odyssey

Set sail on a creative ocean adventure! Each day, campers journey into a new ocean-themed world, discovering dazzling marine life, sketching sea monsters, designing mermaids and mythical creatures, painting sunny beaches and bustling ports, and crafting pirate maps and treasure chests worthy of hidden treasure. Along the way, students explore digital art techniques like illustration and animation as they bring their artwork to life. They’ll be inspired by great artists like Van Gogh, Renoir, Crane, and Hokusai, learning how to blend color and add texture to any art piece. With hands-on projects, team games, and plenty of creative freedom, this camp sparks confidence and curiosity in every child. The week wraps up with a Seafarer’s Art Show, where we celebrate campers’ masterpieces from across the seven seas!

Galactic Chess Quest

Grab your “Planet Passport” and launch into a galactic chess adventure! In this space-themed chess journey, campers become space chess explorers who will engage with interactive robotic chess boards that respond to moves, tackle cosmic strategy puzzles, and use advanced tools to analyze games like never before. Guided by expert coaches, players level up their strategy, logic, and confidence through fast-paced activities and mission-based challenges that teach students how to work in teams, spot patterns, predict outcomes, and think three moves ahead, just like true cosmic tacticians. Students will explore innovative tactics, track their progress using futuristic tech, and plan strategies. The week concludes with our exciting Galactic Chess Quest Tournament, where campers can test their new skills by playing friendly matches against one another or take on “tech” chess boards in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. By the end of the journey, every player emerges as a bold Chess Captain ready to rule the galaxy of strategy!

Cooking: Culinary Scientists (Delicious Science)

Step into a tasty world where cooking becomes an edible science lab! Join us as campers receive personalized chef wear and explore “edible experiments” while discovering how ingredients react and transform as they make fizzy volcano cupcakes, color-changing lemonade, solar-oven nachos, bubbling elixirs, and hand-churned ice cream. Each day includes a kitchen-themed art project like designing a solar-oven, decorating recipe journals, and concocting edible slime, and outdoor activities like food texture guessing games or relay races. Throughout the week, young chefs build skills in safety, measuring, mixing, heat reactions, and food chemistry. The fun wraps up at our Tasty Science Café, where campers visit tasting stations, see camper-made mini science exhibits, and celebrate their Culinary Scientists’ delicious discoveries!

Dance: Guardians of the Groove

Step into the spotlight this summer as campers learn high-energy choreography inspired by K-pop and hip hop cultures, along with today’s hottest hits! Guided by industry professionals, campers will be taught choreography and explore cool and colorful fashions of K-pop and hip hop idols. Dancers will build confidence, technique, and stage presence as they are taught dance styles from hip hop, jazz, freestyle to K-pop. They’ll participate in daily dance rehearsals and prepare for the end of week performance. Adding to their artistic experience, campers will design dazzling jewelry to level up their performance day, craft custom stage accessories, and create fun glow-in-the-dark fan signs. Throughout the week, dancers work on rhythm, coordination, teamwork, and expressive artistry. The adventure culminates in an electrifying “How It’s Done” Showcase as they shine center stage!

Engineering: Pika Pika Printing Lab

(3D Printing, Science, Technology, Engineering)

Get ready to engineer, design, and invent in this electrifying Pokémon-themed STEM camp! Throughout the week, young creators will explore real engineering concepts as they build a Poké Ball–launching catapult to study force and motion, design a 3D-printed trading-card holder using TinkerCad, and craft a Pokémon-inspired planter. Campers will bring their ideas to life using Bambu Lab 3D printers, learning how digital modeling becomes a real-world object layer by layer. Along the way, students will strengthen skills in problem-solving, measurement, prototyping, and creative design. No need to bring any Pokemon Cards, each camper will get over 30 cards and learn how to play the Trading Card Game. The week culminates with an epic Pokémon Card Tournament, where students test their new cards. Catch ’em all and prove you have what it takes to be a top Trainer!

Fashion: K-Pop Fashion Tour

Get ready to sparkle, slay, and step into the K-Pop spotlight! In this colorful fashion experience, campers design their own idol-worthy wardrobe pieces inspired by the hottest K-Pop trends. Young fashion designers will create a fringe shoulder tank made for dancing, a fierce dragon stuffy sidekick, slay-worthy custom socks, and braided hair clips or hats perfect for a music video glow-up. Campers will explore color, texture, embellishment, and trendsetting flair as they decorate their creations with sequins, chains, charms, and rhinestones. Each day blends fashion-making with K-Pop imagination, encouraging confidence, creativity, and self-expression. The week wraps with a sparkling K-Pop Showcase where campers strut the runway, debut their colorful bold designs, and rock out in mini karaoke sessions, just like their favorite idols!

Idea Lab: Wonders of the World with Lego® Robotics

Join our future archeologists in exploring the beautiful wonders of the world, with their trusty robot companions by their side. Using LEGO® bricks and robotics skills to recreate awe-inspiring landmarks and discover ancient secrets, we’re digging up the past and building our coding knowledge at the same time! From the majestic Great Wall of China to the dazzling Taj Mahal, archeology meets technology at the Idea Lab! Each day, Lego builders will tackle a new wonder, learning fun facts, engineering tricks, and the art of creative problem-solving on the fly. Design your Colosseum to have a secret trap door, fit a tiny Pharaoh into the Great Pyramid, or command a robo-demolition team without destroying ancient artifacts. The end-of-week culmination gives family and friends an all-access pass to the wonders of the world as they are taken on a guided tour of the amazing campers’ LEGO® creations. All you’ll need is a love for LEGO® and a sense of adventure. Ready, build, go!

Little Dippers

Get your incoming TK or Kindergartener excited and ready for the year ahead with STAR’s fun-filled Kinder Prep program! Specially tailored for incoming TK and Kindergartners, this program helps children ease into school life through hands-on exploration in science, art, movement, and playful learning. In this warm, safe, and nurturing environment, students build confidence, practice routines, meet new friends, and grow comfortable on campus before their first day of school even arrives. From creative projects to engaging discovery activities, every day helps them feel prepared, happy, and eager to learn.

Media Arts: Star TV - Adventures in Movie Magic!

Welcome to a summer filled with imagination, laughter, and hands-on moviemaking! In this playful, kid-friendly filmmaking camp, young creators tumble into an imaginary TV world where they become the stars, directors, and showrunners of their own channel, Star TV! Each day unlocks a new on-screen adventure: reporting wild “breaking news,” filming funny commercials, crafting movie trailers, and producing cartoon or stop-motion animations. Campers develop stories, assist in writing scripts, build props, act on camera, and learn simple filming and editing skills using iPads, green screens, LED lights, booms, props, other professional-grade tools, and tons of imagination. With teamwork, creativity, and plenty of behind-the-scenes magic, students build an entire TV lineup together. At the end of camp, these rising filmmakers will proudly premiere their very own Star TV Channel, a spectacular showcase of creativity, laughter, and cinematic adventure!

Minecraft: Captain Bowser & the Treasure Hunters

Ahoy, mateys! Set sail on a story-driven Minecraft adventure where every camper becomes a treasure hunter exploring a vast chain of mysterious islands. Claim your own resource-rich island and transform it into a mighty pirate stronghold with harbors, treasure vaults, lookout towers, and clever defenses. But no pirate conquers the seas alone—trade rare items, negotiate alliances, and collaborate on massive builds like shared ports or a grand Pirate Republic. Campers will strategize, engineer, explore, and navigate both danger and diplomacy as they shape the future of the archipelago. The week finishes with a showcase of each captain’s island followed by an “epic” pirate battle on the high seas. Ready your ships and sharpen your wits–Captain Bowser awaits bold Treasure Hunters!

Robotics: Best of the Bots!

Dive into a full STEAM robotics experience where campers code, engineer, and experiment with more than 10 incredible robots! Each day features four different robots from Sphero Indi, Mini, and BOLT to Ozobots, Wonder Bots, Micro:Bits, and even 3D printing tools. Students learn real robotics principles such as sensors, loops, conditionals, block coding, path-planning, and simple circuits as they guide their robots through obstacle mazes, speed trials, and team engineering missions. Using Scratch and Micro:Bits, campers also design and code their own mini video games. Throughout the week, students build collaboration skills, troubleshoot like real engineers, and discover how robotics connects to the world around them. The week wraps up with the RoboQuest Challenge Arena, a high-energy robotics finale where campers race, navigate, and problem-solve their way through an engineering obstacle course using everything they’ve learned.

RockSTAR: Summer of Pop

Step into the spotlight in this action-packed one-week music camp! Pop music has changed the world with its catchy beats and melodies and music videos. Whether you love Taylor Swift or K-Pop, this camp is for you! Campers get to play synthesizers, drums, or vocals and team up to learn a modern pop hit, building real musical skills through hands-on practice and group rehearsal. Guided by RockSTAR pros, each band also creates its own music video, explores beatmaking and digital production on iPads, and learns how to command the stage with confidence and energy. Throughout the week, campers dive into rhythm, melody, performance techniques, and creative collaboration. Students will also design a custom band shirt to wear for the big show! The camp wraps with an exciting live show, where friends and family cheer on the bands as they perform their song. Perfect for beginners or experienced players, this camp builds confidence, sparks creativity, and celebrates the joy of making music with friends.

Science: Star Wars Jedi Training Academy

Young Padawans, your Jedi journey begins now! In STAR Science’s Jedi Laboratory, campers explore the galaxy through hands-on science and imaginative play. Each day unlocks a new challenge: testing circuits, designing a fidgeting mini droid, making a batch of Jabba slime, building a custom lightsaber, and creating a space suit for a marshmallow. Investigating energy, motion, electricity, polymers, and planetary science has never been this fun! Trainees will practice Jedi focus, teamwork, problem-solving, and the scientific method as they complete missions inspired by iconic moments from the Star Wars universe. Throughout the week, campers craft gadgets, conduct experiments, and train to strengthen their connection to the “Force.” The adventure concludes with a thrilling final trial where Padawans demonstrate their skills and graduate as full-fledged Jedi defenders of the galaxy!

STAR Precision Sports Adventure Camp

Step into a world of motion, strategy, and friendly competition! In this unique camp, K–5th athletes explore a variety of exciting precision sports, each designed to build confidence, coordination, and joy in movement. Campers dash through obstacle courses to boost agility, practice precision with kid-safe archery and target throwing, and sharpen aim through golf and bowling. Daily rotations feature team relays, solo skill missions, and creative station challenges that promote problem-solving and sportsmanship. The week wraps up with the STAR Precision Sports Adventure Challenge, a friendly Olympic-style finale where campers showcase their favorite skills, earn achievement badges, and work together to complete adventure stations. It’s the ultimate celebration of teamwork, confidence, and summer fun!

Theatre: Little Mermaid Jr.

Make a splash this summer with STAR’s Little Mermaid Jr. musical theatre camp, perfect for young performers who love to act, sing, move, and let their imaginations soar! Over two fun-filled weeks, campers journey “under the sea” as they rehearse and bring to life the beloved tale of Ariel, a curious mermaid who dreams of exploring the human world. Filled with unforgettable characters, catchy songs, and ocean-bright energy, this camp is the ideal way for kids with the acting bug to shine. Campers will rotate through singing, acting, choreography, and helping with simple set pieces, or creating costume accessories. Guided by experienced teaching artists, students build confidence, teamwork, and performance skills in a warm, encouraging environment. The camp culminates in a joyful final performance. Week 1 : Celebrating Summer at Eco!

June 8th - June 12th (No Camp On 19th for Juneteenth Holiday)

Start off your summer with a bang Eco style!  Gators splashing around in pools!  Help a lizard get vitamin D by sunbathing!  Water fun with our parrots!  Meet like minded animal lovers, and forge forever friendships!

Week 2 : African Adventures 

June 15th - June 18th (No Camp July 4th)

Join us on a savefari as we trek through the savannas of Africa!  Meet marvelous monitor lizards. Caravan to the Congo to chat with an African Grey Parrot.  Tour the African terrain with giant sulcata tortoises that can live over 150 years!  

Week 3: Junior Eco Staff 

June 29th  - July 2nd

Welcome future animal keepers! Our most popular week, with enrollment typically filling up very fast, Junior Eco staffers work with our Eco Station’s Animal Husbandry Team in feeding and caring for many of our rescued exotic wildlife. Discover the many ways we can protect this wonderful world for ourselves and the rest of the animal kingdom!

Week 4: Stars and Stripes

June 30th  - July 3rd (No Camp July 4th)

RED tegus, WHITE cockatoos, and BLUE and gold macaws!  Celebrate our independence, Eco style! 

  • Meet and care for our American animal ambassadors. 

  •  Party at the park with our plant based bbq!  

  • Blast off your very own water bottle rocket, and learn about jet propulsion in cephalopods!    

Week 5: Junior Eco Staff 2

July 7th - July 11th

Due to high enrollment and increasing interest, we will be offering a second Junior Eco Staff week. Campers will work closely with our Eco Station educators caring for our creepy crawlies, tremendous tortoises, and lively lizards! Help feed some produce to our Pacu, meat to our Snapping Turtles, and meet new animals who have recently begun calling the Eco Station home!

Week 6: Reptiles Rock 

July 14th - July 18th

Explore our remarkable reptiles! Rendezvous with an alligator, greet a gecko, babysit a baby iguana or marvel at our monitors! Learn all about these fierce friends and help us enrich the lives of our wondrous rescued reptiles!

Week 7: Jr Eco Staff 3

July 21st - July 25th

Third time's the charm! We are hosting a third week of Jr Eco staff!  Walk a lizard on a leash, laser time with Lulu the bobcat!  Find out fun ways we provide our rescued animals with enrichment.  Animals are happier and healthier when we stimulate their bodies and minds, just like us!  

Week 8: Best of Eco

July 28th - August 1st

Get groovy with our geckos, boogie with our birds or have some fun with our rescued furry friends, you won’t know what to expect from this wild week!  Our most fun and exciting activities from the summer happen all week long! Campers have the opportunity to vote on which one of their favorite rotations they experience next!  

Week 9: Jr Eco Staff 4

August 4th- August 8th

Back by popular demand!  Our fourth and final week of Jr Eco Staff for the summer is packed with animal interactions.  Assist our Husbandry Team in administering animal treatments (bathing, nail trimming, etc..).  Join us to find out what it takes to provide animals with the care they need to thrive!   

Week 10: Vip Eco Experience 

August 11th- August 15th

Come join us for one of a kind VIP Animal Experience! Campers have the opportunity to work closely with our husbandry team, and find out all about the different diets, and care that the Animals at the Eco Station need to be happy and healthy! This week is packed with interactive animal experiences where campers will learn how to handle a variety of different animal species, and assist our husbandry staff with treatments for our rescued animals. Feed a carnivore a meal, prepare a salad for the tortoises, and much much more!

STAR Summer Campers toured the SoFi Stadium and got the VIP, checked out the locker room and ran onto the field!

STAR Summer Campers visited the California Science Center and watched an epic movie at the IMAX Theater.

• All Campers TK-5th grade are enrolled in 5 day camps will participate in the weekly field trips.

• No refunds will be issued. No alternative options will be offered.

• Field trip details will be sent via email and posted at or near the sign-in/sign-out table.

• All campers will take a bus from your camp site to the field trip location.

• Students will need to bring a disposable ("brown paper bag") lunch unless otherwise specified.

• Students must wear the teal-blue STAR summer camp t-shirt. Camp Tshirts will be issued on or before field trip day if you do not have one already. 

Parents please note: All campers will participate in the field trip. There is no alternative to the field trip attendance other than opting out of camp for the day. A refund will not be issued for opting out or being absent on the day of the field trip. SuperSTAR Camps are offered on a 3 day minimum basis.

Field Trip Excludes these sites and these sites only: Hermosa, Mt. Washington, Wonderland and the

STAR Eco Station. These camps will not be going on field trips.
