Science Nights
STAR Science can provide a variety of activities for both students and parents.

From Science Program Kick-offs to Family Fun Nights, STAR Science can do it!

Topics Include:

•  Forensic Science Night
A terrible crime has been committed and the STAR Science Department needs your help in solving the mystery! You’ll need to study the crime scene carefully in order to figure out WHO DUNNIT? Learn to collect samples, study fingerprints, and even build a DNA model.

• Kitchen Chemistry Night
Did you know that cooking is a science, as well as an art? Students will investigate the properties of matter, mixtures, solutions, chemical changes, acids, and bases while creating culinary, chemical concoctions.

• Mobile Exhibitions

• Science Kick-Off Nights
STAR Science can design a night to coincide with your science program/fair kick- off! We have a variety of hands-on workshops that complement our assembly- type presentations, which can be tailored to suit the specific needs of the school and science program.
