Garen Science Enhancement enables schools to utilize their gardens to teach California Science Standards, gardening, health and nutrition through exciting and innovative hands-on classes in the Garden!

Get With the Program!
•  3-12 week programs available for K-5th grade in Earth, Physical, and Life Science.
•  Principals/Teachers choose from an array of innovative classes that coincide with the material they are teaching in the classroom.
•  Each week, a STAR Scientist will teach an exciting hands-on Science lesson to each classroom enrolled in the program.
•  Each lesson targets specific Science standards.
•  STAR Science provides all handouts and materials for each lesson.
• Pre- and Post- assessments based on the Science CST will be administered upon request (4th and 5th grade only).
