Classroom Visitation Enhancement Workshops
STAR Science can deliver or design tailor-made lessons that emphasize hands-on education in a stimulating environment. We can even bring our Science Bus to your school and have classes right inside the bus!
Previous Workshops have included:

Magnetic Maze
Students unravel the mystery of magnetism and its connection to the world around us, as they create an amazing magnetic maze. Students learn about magnetic properties, as well as applications of magnetism.

Hoop Fliers
Students will investigate the basic principles of aerodynamics while creating amazing flying gizmos. Students also learn about the four forces of flight and are introduced to the concepts behind airplane design.

Telegraph
Students will learn about a simple circuit, and how this relates to the function of a telegraph, then actually build one! Students will also learn of Morse code and how this language, coupled with the telegraph, allowed for mass communication over long distances.
