STAR Education offers a complete chess curriculum. STAR Chess has a staff that includes some of the finest coaches, educators, and players residing in Southern California. STAR’s Chess program is in 43 schools and growing at an astounding pace.

Students receive hands-on instruction and opportunities to practice their new skills. STAR’s chess enrichment classes and camps produce outstanding results and give children an experience that would not otherwise be possible. The classes engage students’ intellectual capacities and broaden their personal aspirations.

STAR Chess has won first place in National tournaments along with several State Championships over the past 5 years. Accomplishments include:
• 2003 and 2004 Best Under 800 Team Western Amateur Scholastic
• 2004 Best of Phoenix City Championship 4th place Kindergarten Team. (Regional Title)
• 2002 All America Cup K-1 Club Champions (National Title)
• 2002 All America Cup K-3 Club 2nd Place (National Title)
• 2000 State Championship 1st Pace K-5 (State Title)
• 5 students nationally ranked in the top 50.

STAR Education is also proud to have been a co-sponsor the U.S. Open Scholastic Chess Camp with the United States Chess Federation, providing staff, logistical, and administrative support.
