A real brain-tickler for LA whiz-kids! Bringing back favorites like crime solving, rocketry, robots, and some brand new themes like Time Traveler and Icky, Gooey, Gross and Groovy Science! Science never gets boring at REAL Science! A new subject each week challenges campers all summer long and keeps them interested with hands-on activities and experiments. Campers are guaranteed a wonderful opportunity to experience all aspects of science in a fun, safe, and exciting environment. Join REAL scientists from STAR Education’s award-winning science team. Hours: 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday. 
Extended care available 8 – 9am & 3 – 6pm

Time Traveler
Help build the STAR Science time machine! Use your time machine for the whole week, voyaging into the past and catching a glimpse of how the dinosaurs lived. Learn about exciting, modern
science, while you create mind-bending puzzles and much more! Finally, gaze into the future and explore the new possibilities in science and technology. Experience the science of tomorrow, today!

Rockets, Robots & Rovers
Interested in the way NASA goes to space, or the cutting-edge technology of machines? Here’s your chance to blast-off different types of rockets of your own creation! Plus, get a chance to
design and build your own personal robot. Build radical rockets, miraculous robots, and amazing rovers!

Who Dunnit? (Crime Forensics/DNA)
The Mad Dog Gang is up to their old tricks! Try to find another culprit in a brand new edition of ‘Who Dunnit?’ Get out your trench coat and funny English hat as you learn the techniques to help solve the mystery of the summer! Piece together the clues in an interactive mystery where YOU are the detective.

Icky, Gooey, Gross and Groovy Science
Do you like being grossed out? This camp is just for you! Explore all of the most disgusting topics in science, while doing amazing hands-on projects. Get to know yourself – inside and out! Create fake blood and scabs, test your senses, and even dissect a sheep eye. Ewww!
