Comics Alive-Superhero Invasion


Do you love superheroes and comics? Is there a superhero inside of you that is fighting to break free? Of course there is! Come join STAR’s Comics Alive: Superhero Invasion class this Summer 2008. Students will learn about the mythology behind the superhero, the origins of superhero comics from past and present, as well as learn basic comic art techniques to create their own, personalized superhero during the course of the class. The session will combine the dynamic duo of graphic arts and literacy to give this 2-week camp a one-two punch of awesomeness! Come release your inner superhero this summer at STAR’s Comics Alive: Superhero Invasion!

Grades: 1-6

Hours: 9am – 3pm, Monday – Friday.  Extended care available 8 – 9am & 3 – 6pm

Price:  $255 per week (2 week session required)
