Although the federal deadline for submission of the FAFSA is not until June 30th, 2009, the California State deadline for Cal Grants and other items will be March 2nd.  You can begin filling out the FAFSA as soon as you like after January 1st, 2009.  Find information on the FAFSA and apply online through their website.

A recent study conducted by the Yale University School of Medicine, the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the California Pacific Medical Center has found that there are strong links between media exposure and obesity, smoking and sexual activity.  According to the study, “…there is a strong correlation between media exposure and long-term negative health effects to children.”  To read the Washington Post article on this study please visit their site.
